Ladies, we are not VICTIMES, nor are we SURVIVORS.
A survivor is someone hanging on by the end of their rope; not necessarily dealing with their core issue.
"We are more than conquerors through
Him who loved us."Romans 8:37

You've come to the right place for help. We offer referrals, discuss residential recovery programs, your need for a mentor if you wish, or simply pray together.

HUMAN TRAFFICKING: If you are a person in human trafficking, we have resources to help you get out safely. Call 911 or call/text to Miss Peggy at COAST Ministry 941-315-8887. Also, see the 24/7 Hot Line numbers on this website. We would love to share with you about other women in your situation who are living a beautiful Christian life now, free of abusive men, alcohol and drugs.
Through our COAST Ministry Inc. RECOVERY GRANT, we place qualified individuals in one-year, faith-based residential RECOVERY PROGRAMS at no cost to them. We will arrange for your telephone interview with the Program Intake Director. If you are accepted into the program, we will pay your one-way transportation (by Greyhound bus or Amtrak train) to the program. Through the GRANT, we will also pay the non-refundable program’s processing fee (customarily $100). Once you arrive at the destination best suited best suited for your needs, they will cover all your living expenses until you commence or graduate. At that time, most programs help you transition into housing. Note that you must be capable of working . at the program who arranges employment for you. In the early stages of your program, cell phones are not allowed. Also, you cannot be on any controlled substance prescriptions. In the fall of 2021, we placed two females and three men into programs. The program’s primary requirements are that you be open to God and respectful of authority, which in this case, means the program leaders.
We engage with women who are being or have been sexual abused, a victim of domestic violence, or any form of abuse, to lead them to Christ and spiritual healing.
We offer mentoring, prayer support and referrals for the multi-needs of broken-hearted women.
Post tenebras, lux
(After Darkness, Light)
I was a "victim" as a child.
Eventually, I called myself a "survivor,"
and I was content with that label for some time... UNTIL the day surrendered my life to God, and He taught me that "We are more than conquerors through him who loved us." Romans 8:37
Jesus said, "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" Matthew 11:28. Isn't that what we long for? Peace in our lives? Joy? Healing? Rest?
COAST is an acronym for Courage to Overcome All Sexual Trauma.
We believe in the FIVE SOLAS of the Reformation:
SALVATION comes by GRACE ALONE, through FAITH ALONE, in CHRIST ALONE, according to SCRIPTURE ALONE and to the GLORY OF GOD ALONE. We believe the Bible is our supreme authority.
